The whole shack shimmies…
With The B-52’s announcing that this summer will be the last time they’ll roam around the world, and their final London show coming on Sunday June 30th, here’s advance notice of an extravagant clubnight celebration behind the hidden door at The Victoria.
Amidst the club’s usual mix of indiepop, new wave, post-punk and Northern Soul, expect to hear all of the gloriously exuberant B52’s hits from 1978’s debut ‘Rock Lobster’ onwards through ‘Planet Claire’ and ‘Private Idaho’ to ‘Summer of Love’, ‘Love-Shack’, ‘ROAM’ and 2008’s ace ‘Juliet of the Spirits’.
It will be a peach and a pearler from a Fellini dream.
