566 Cable St, E1W 3HB

Here’s the February Des Was A Bowie Fan at Jamboree, indiepop, new wave, post-punk, Northern Soul and rock’n’roll dancing by the Limehouse riverside, with guests Oxford’s ace Rainbow Reservoir and Flemmings.

An obvious reference to make from Rainbow Reservoir is back to Tullycraft, and why wouldn’t you make it. There’s a similar lyrical, melodic, sentimental and ecstatic charm here, and that should already say enough. They’re not on facebook as that’s for your dad they say, but they do have a website with all their music on, and a 1980s-style zapper bolt which is quite addictive when you start pressing it – http://www.rainbowreservoir.com/music/

The band’s first EP ‘Coco Sleeps Around’ was released via Odd Box Records in 2016. Their debut LP ‘Channel Hanna’ follows early this year.

“Loved-up fuzz rock” – For the Rabbits

Flemmings have a tender, shimmering and ferocious garage rock’n’roll sound falling into an enchanted land between Sonic Youth and the Pixies. Their latest EP Heads and Tails was released at the end of last year, again via Odd Box.

Then the club shall roll through till 3am.
